I once upon a time had a writing journal I never used because it meant actually logging out and in and it was just a hassle. However, I made myself a comm because comms are awesome and I've been writing a lot lately and realized I probably ought to have one since otherwise it'll all end up in my cdj, which I plan to actually start using again instead of tweeting obsessively.
